Do Marquee Myspace codes work on pictures or images?

I'm trying to make my text move up through this code: %26lt;marquee direction="up"%26gt;TEXT%26lt;/marquee%26gt;

but it's not working. I think it's because i have imagesbetween some of the text but I'm not sure...

the marquee tag should work with any images and text. it is not really a myspace tag. it is am html tag. the browser should be able to read it. check the tags again, sometimes it is caused by some errors in other tags.

the easiest way to check the code is by pasting it into a web editor and check the html code (source). if there are code errors anywhere the web editor will show you (like leaving the "%26lt;" without the "%26gt;" or wrong parameters)
