make the image transparnt by loading it into photoshop or paintshop pro. there are many tutorial sites that will show you what to do.

what i think you want is a javascript rollover code so one image is replaced with another one when you mouseover it. you cannot use javascript in a myspace account.

here is the ONLY way to make a rollover work on myspace. you put all 4 image states into one image and then move the image around using style sheets for the image state you want.

hmm...im not sure about microsoft XP, but ill tell you how i do it

first, i use paint

once you open paint, open up the picture/image u want to make smaller

after that, go to image then to stretch/skew (or just do ctrl w)

in the stretch area, put your dimensions (i usually put in 20, and 20)

dont bother with the skew area

then click enter and wha la!

the pic should be smaller

make sure you save it, and once you get to myspace to upload your images, go to my pictures and then click on that pic

If you have smaller images...and you want to make them bigger...no software can do that right without making them 'blocky' looking. You just have to scan them in at a bigger size.

Now if you have larger images and you want to make them smaller I would take them into paint...or if you have some photo software that came with your computer and make them smaller.

Without the name of the program you have we really can't help you that much with the resizing of pictures...but if you can figure it out...save them as either a .tiff (better) or a .jpeg (ok...) and then...I don't know anything about myspace but there's an uploading page that I know they have where you upload files from your computer onto there...just find the file and upload it.

Any how if I were you I would go to the control panel, check if your firewall is blocking or go to your audio video settings check if that is set right. Whoever is sharing the image from their photobucket account, has gone over the daily limit. Too many people are using the same image. You can always save the image and upload it onto your own photobucket or whichever image hosting website you have, then use it as your background.

If I were you just watermark your picture if you are worried about it. There is no sure way of protecting your pictures from everyone, period.

If I wanted your picture I could take it no matter what kind of protection you have on it. Best thing to do is copyright your pictures so at least no one can legally make money off your pictures. Or of course not put them anywhere on the computer. .

Are you still having Myspace image issues?

To fix the problem, you have to delete all picture codes, then add them back. You cannot copy and paste them, either. That won't work. Or, you could just wait for Myspace to fix the issue- which may take a while.

No. Almost everyone on myspace posts their photos on their profile using photobucket. Why would that be copyright infringment? If you mean you are posting a photo that has been copyrighted by someone else and are claiming that it is your's, regardless of whether or not it's from photobucket, then yeah, you're guilty of it.

Otherwise, hell no.

Usually a picture that is copyrighted has to HAVE the copyright either typed right under the photo where it is originally posted, or watermarked onto the photo itself, saying clearly that it IS copyrighted. But that doesn't mean you can't post it on myspace. You can put any pic on there, but if for example you take a copyrighted picture of a supermodel and start saying 'that's me' or something like that, you're saying that photo BELONGS to you and you can't do that.

the marquee tag should work with any images and text. it is not really a myspace tag. it is am html tag. the browser should be able to read it. check the tags again, sometimes it is caused by some errors in other tags.

the easiest way to check the code is by pasting it into a web editor and check the html code (source). if there are code errors anywhere the web editor will show you (like leaving the "%26lt;" without the "%26gt;" or wrong parameters)

This is driving me CRAZY! Ok, I'm having a problem with centering my images on myspace when I center a text like in the interest section, and I enter a picture the text is aligned to the left somehow so can someone please!
