I know there is an 82 character limit, so I'm not sure on how to add the html in that little space.

Please don't tell me it can't be done I've seen it work before.

Are you checking to make sure the entire URL fits into the caption? Also, the url needs to be double-checked to make sure it is valid, %26amp; not missing any characters.
